Planting considerations
- Should be planted when soil reaches 60+ degrees
- Very drought tolerant

Harvest
- SorgoSugar BMR normally goes for harvest between 65-70 days after seeding
- Protein begins to decline if harvest is delayed
- Energy will increase upon heading as sugar forms in the stalks and leaves carbohydrate deposits in the developing grains
Cow Chew
Cow Chew is a sweet, sorghum - sudangrass hybrid bred for grazing, green chop, or hay. Both parents are very sweet and have the natural sucrose plant sugar. Cow Chew assures the best nutritious, palatable forage. Cow Chew gets off to a fast start, and the regrowth is rapid after cutting or grazing.
Cow Chew has very good vigor and drought tolerance with fast regrowth.

Seeding Rates For Cow Chew
Seeding rates will vary with soil and moisture conditions. Higher rates will produce finer-stemmed, leafier plants while choking out weeds and increasing yields. These hybrids should be planted in a firm seedbed. Horses should not be fed sorghum-sudangrass hybrids. Seed rate is 18-30 lbs. per acre.
